•             Fully retract your grease gun piston by pulling it out. If it comes with a clamping device, it often locks into place automatically.

•             Unscrew the top portion of your grease gun.

•             Remove the cap or foil cover that your grease cartridge comes with.

•             With the use of a knife, cut the plastic cap that is found at the other end of your grease cartridge.

•             Put your new grease cartridge into place with your main grease gun machine.

•             Put back the screw on the top portion of your grease gun.

•             Depress your automatic clamping device and press the piston into your grease gun.

•             Push the ventilation relief valve from your grease gun to remove the air that is trapped inside.
